Yuzu is a citrus fruit born from the hybridization between an ichang papeda lemon and a bitter mandarin. Although it is now a staple of gastronomy, it has been cultivated for almost 1,300 years. It was during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) that yuzu was introduced to Japan, which is now the main producer. In perfumery, yuzu brings a distinctive bitterness to the top notes while maintaining a pulpy dimension, a characteristic accentuated by a blend of aldehydes and green citrus fruits in our Yuzu.
