A leathery and elegant saffron, crossed with notes of spices and vanilla.

Saffron, derived from the pistil of the Crocus Sativus, has been cultivated in Persia for over 3,500 years for its vibrant colour and leathery, herbaceous fragrance. It then spread around the Mediterranean, reaching the courts of Europe, China and the Indian subcontinent, where it acquired a strong symbolic value. The Greeks associated it with gold and eternal life, while Hindus and Buddhists saw it as the flame of knowledge. This “red gold” gives our Saffron its strong character and its impression of supple and elegant leather.
