Olibanum is the expression of creativity and singularity through a tribute to frankincense, a rare resin more precious than gold, the very origin of perfume. Coveted by ancient kings and pharaohs, this balm that adorned altars around the world in India, Africa, Europe and Mesopotamia, was supposed to transmit prayers both sacred and profane. Even today, this resin purifies the atmosphere, relaxes and soothes the mind.

Throughout his travels, Gérald Ghislain has discovered the splendors of many countries associated with perfumery. At the same time, he has noted some of the challenges faced by communities in certain regions of the world. It is therefore not surprising that he wanted to give a human dimension to Olibanum, by creating a perfume house committed to supporting humanitarian projects and economic development.
